  4. Eat the right stuff : Junk food and sweets can also be the food for yeast and they can make yeast grows. You should have a lot of vegetables and drink sufficient amount of clean water. There are some of the products that you can eat to prevent yeast for example unsweetened yogurt.
  5. Do not douche : Douching may help killing germs in the vagina. It may help you feel cleaner and have less smell. However, Douching can damage the balance of bacterial environment in the vagina. Yeast can drastically grow if you douche too often.
  6. Have proper and hygienic habit : You will need to properly clean your genital area every time you go to the bath room. Wipe from back to front instead of doing it vice versa.

The six techniques can be used for yeast infection prevention. However, there are some other causes that you can not avoid if you want to lead a normal life including taking antibiotics, having too much stress, pregnancy, weak immune system, hormonal changes etc.

All these things sometimes can not be avoided and therefore the risk of the infection can not be totally eliminated.
